But as I sat there gathering the courage to approach her, she collected her things and went out the door. Time had stopped for me the moment I had seen her, and that’s when the spell was broken. For an instant, I felt like my heart was being crushed with a surge of emotions, but somewhere deep inside, I was also glad the mirage had vanished. She was an illusion.

I worry for myself.
