I am glad to be back and be of help to Avantusland… BUT I’m saddened by the news that my Mama Mia was off dialysis and was placed on hospice.

I was gone that long?!?

Must be sad when your family gives up on you for no reason at all??? I heard it from the grapevine.

Hah! The misconception of hospice!

Hospice is sad. No! My experience with my hospice patients were all sad… didn’t I tell you that before? Most of them died the next day they were placed or submitted themselves to hospice.

Hospice care is designed to give supportive care to people in the final phase of a terminal illness and focus on comfort and quality of life, rather than cure.

While death is not an option for anybody, there are other choices to use at the end of one’s life.

When death is in sight… Hospice.
